We are in the homestretch with Book 1! I have assigned for them to work on Page 31, which among other things introduces the concept of 'ritardando' or gradually slowing down. I also asked them to at least have a look at page 30, which has potential for a performance piece, as does "Sakura" on page 31.
Because of the religious holiday and school vacation, we won't see each other for three weeks! Please help them not to go too long without playing!
